Stainless Steel Bottles
Here at My Friendly Lunchbox we love stainless steel bottles as they keep our drinks fresh and great tasting whereas many plastic bottles leave the drink tasting (and smelling) flat and stale. There is also the ongoing debate about the safety of drinking from polycarbonate plastic bottles containing the chemical BPA. And the problems with aluminium bottles are that they usually contain a plastic inner coating and are not as durable as stainless steel. Neither is it advised to reuse disposable PET bottles as they are hard to keep clean and therfore build up bacteria and after repeated use they can leach DEHP (phthalates)into your drink.
Food Storage Containers
Plastic food containers are also a potential source of BPA exposure, especially if you wash them with harsh detergents or use them after they have been scratched or worn. Therefore we only stock BPA free plastic containers or, for those who want to avoid plastics all together - stainless steel containers and food jars.
Sandwich / Food Wrappers
The reusable and washable sandwich wrapper is a sustainable alternative to sandwich bags, cling film, aluminium foil and small plastic bags. Clingfilm and plastic cannot be recycled or reused and end up in our landfills for many years to come. Use our food kozies and Wrap-N-Mats to wrap sandwiches, fruit, vegetables and everything you want to take along. Use them at home to wrap up blocks of cheese, meats and cut up vegetables.

Kids Konserve It didn’t take much imagination, for 2 american mums, to see how they, as parents of young children, were contributing to garbage landfills, pollutants and sending the wrong message to their own children. How could they set an example of conservation for their children and empower them to be the examples of change for the future? The answer - they developed a great product line of waste free lunchbox sets, food kozies and stainless steel food containers, with the aim for users to pack a zero waste lunch.

Onya The idea for Onya started in Australia in a shiny, bright, light, strong and cool hammock which provided the inspiration for the first reusable Onya(On You)Bag. As an alternative to plastic bags it was made from parachute material and scrunched down into it’s own little pouch. Jon Brousson started selling the bags at the Fremantle Markets in Australia five years ago and about four years ago his big brother, Dan, started selling them at Greenwich Market in London. Onya has now extended their product range to include reusable bottles, sandwich wrappers (wrap-n-mat) and wrapping paper (wrapsacks).
