In our recent Facebook Earth Week Celebrations some of our fans shared their Acts of Green that they had introduced at home. I hope nobody minds that I am sharing those acts in this blog post but I found them really inspiring. And those 'smaller' changes in our every day lives are what actually going to bring about a real change to the Earth's future so enjoy reading and please add your very own act of green in the comments.

ONE MILLION ACTS OF GREEN

Recent Acts of Green by My Friendly Lunchbox Fans:

• Using a soda stream machine instead of using plastic pop bottles.
   
• Turning appliances off at the mains, rather than leaving them on standby.
   
• We do a standby light hunt before going to bed! Turn off all the lights and see if there are any rogue devices with their standby LED's still on!
   
• We've bought an energy monitor, its amazing how much difference it makes when you can see how much energy you are using.
